Stellar Drift
LiveRace through collapsing galaxies in real-time PvP.
About this game
Stellar Drift drops you into the cockpit of a frictionless anti-gravity racer hurtling through star systems on the brink of collapse. Every track is a countdown: suns go nova, gravity wells shift, and debris fields rearrange the racing line in real time, so no two laps ever play out the same way.
The heart of the game is its momentum model. Instead of a simple boost meter, speed is something you bank and protect — feather your drifts, slingshot through wormholes, and tap-release your thrusters to carry velocity into the next corner. It is trivial to finish a race and genuinely deep to master one, which is why the top of the ranked ladder is a different sport entirely.
Between seasons, the community track editor keeps the world alive. Players have shipped over 150 hand-built circuits, the best of which get rotated into official playlists. With cross-platform multiplayer for up to 12 racers and full cross-save, your garage, your rank, and your rivalries follow you from the desktop to the train.

The community track editor is the hidden gem here. Spent more time building than racing this month, no regrets.

Gorgeous and fast, but ranked seasons reset a touch too aggressively for casual players like me. Still a 4 from me.

Agreed on the resets. A casual ladder that decays slower would keep my whole friend group around between seasons.

Cross-platform actually works — I queue on PC and finish runs on my phone on the train. Matchmaking has felt fair even off-peak.

The boost-chaining through wormholes finally clicked for me around rank Gold and now I cannot put it down. Skill ceiling is real but the floor is gentle.

Same — what sealed it for me was learning you keep momentum if you tap-release the boost instead of holding it. Total game changer.

Wait, tap-release? I have been holding it this entire time. Off to the practice track immediately.
